Description
For an innovative organization in the biotech sector in the Holland Rijnland region, we are looking for a Software Developer (32–40 hours per week). In this role, you will work within the IT team responsible for developing and maintaining internal systems that are essential for processing and analyzing large volumes of scientific data. You will be part of a high-tech environment where software development plays a key role in supporting laboratory processes, data exchange with clients, and internal automation.

Job Description

  • Develop and improve internal software and data systems
  • Maintain and further develop a data and customer portal
  • Develop automation solutions for operational workflows
  • Maintain and optimize the LIMS system
  • Process and manage large volumes of data
  • Ensure data security and system integrity
  • Collaborate with external IT partners on infrastructure-related matters
  • Work in accordance with quality and security guidelines

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development
  • Experience in a bioinformatics or laboratory environment
  • Strong knowledge of Python, Django, and related technologies
  • Familiar with software development best practices
  • Affinity with data processing and automation
  • Experience with ISO27001, GxP, or similar standards is a plus
