I am looking for a Production Test Engineer for a high-tech organization in the Eindhoven region. In this role, you will develop and implement test solutions for complex electronic systems. You will be involved in the full lifecycle, from design to production.

What will you do?
As a Production Test Engineer, you will work at the crossroads of hardware and software and be responsible for developing test setups for production environments. You will design and implement test systems, analyse results, and translate these into improvements to both the product and the process. You will work with highly automated test systems that have been developed and adapted to support the validation and configuration of various products. Once the products go into series production, you will continue to support lifecycle management by identifying faults, analysing test logs, and applying your product and test knowledge.

You will be closely involved in the introduction of new products into production and will ensure that test processes are reliable and scalable. Your responsibility in this regard lies in creating test hardware for improved interfacing and developing reliable test software. In doing so, you will work closely with engineers, software developers and production departments. The role offers a great deal of freedom and responsibility, allowing you to take the initiative and actively contribute to technical solutions.

What are we looking for?

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable subject
  • Experience with power conversion
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and/or C++
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with test development and/or in a (high-tech) production environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive and independent approach to work
  • Good communication skills in English
