For one of my clients in the medical devices industry, I’m currently looking for a Senior Quality Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead quality improvement initiatives within the organization. You’re responsible for improving products and processes, while working closely with operations, engineering, supply chain, and sales. Job Description:

• Develop and manage risk analyses for design and processes (e.g., FMEAs), collaborating with various departments on risk mitigation.
• Identify and communicate quality trends, establishing proactive processes/systems to enhance product and process quality.
• Lead the implementation of standardized quality systems/processes to address production quality issues.
• Initiate strategic activities to improve product and process quality, including capital investment requests.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts with different departments to address quality concerns and drive performance improvements.
• Provide guidance on problem-solving, root cause analysis, statistical quality control, and work instruction creation.
• Support internal audit systems and assist teams with corrective actions.

Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or another related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer
• Experience in the medical devices industry
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
• Hands-on, communicative, and creative
• Understanding of process validation, including IQ, OQ, & PQ
